This week we feature Katie K. who is an awesome 2022 goalie for us! Katie plays with heart and guts every time she walks onto the field! She’s been playing up on the 2020/2021 team and is always fearless in her play! She makes key stops in every practice and game and has an awesome attitude. We love her dedication and passion for the game and love coaching her. Keep it up Katie!

What do you love about Maineiax? What I love is how intense and competitive Maineiax is and how positive the coaches are. My teammates have always been so nice and supportive whether we win or lose.
What do you love about lacrosse? I love the action and how fast paced it is.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory? When I first stepped in the goal and my dad being on the sideline coaching me.
How would one of your teammates describe you? I think they would describe me shy and hard-working.
How do you get pumped up for a lacrosse game? I get pumped up by reliving in my mind my best saves and how I saved them.
How do you like to spend your free time? I spend my free time in the summer by swimming and tubing. In the winter I enjoy skiing.
What is your favorite place in Maine? My favorite place is my grandparent’s lake house.
What is something people might not know about you? People may not know that I am a really picky eater and my favorite food is cereal.
Who do you look up to as a mentor/role model? I look up to my dad because he was a goalie in college and he always has been able to help me.
What do you hope to accomplish in your lacrosse career? I hope to accomplish my lacrosse career by playing goalie at Liberty University.
