WHO WE ARE

We are the premier boys and girls lacrosse club team in Maine! We offer programs for 2nd-12th grades. We have over 500 players from 100 towns throughout the state who participate in one or more programs during the year. Whether you want to improve your skills or play in college, Maineiax will help you meet your goals and grow your game. We take pride in our talented staff comprised of top college coaches, elite high school coaches and former Maineiax and current college players.

We are passionate about growing the game of girls lacrosse in our home state and helping our players grow into strong players and people. We create a family atmosphere, a team culture which includes everyone and we have a lot fun together!

Maineiax Co-Owners

Lauren Reid Kane, Heidi Howard Allen and Brett Allen bought Maineiax in October of 2014 after six years under previous ownership. Lauren was an All-American player at Deering High School and a Division I player at Maryland & UMass. Heidi was a Division III three-time All-American, DIII Player of the Year and a two-time National Champion at Middlebury College. Brett played at St. Lawrence and has led the Bates College Bobcats to six NESCAC championship tournaments, was named 2016 NESCAC Coach of the Year and previously served as the DIII IWLCA All-American Committee Chair and is a former DIII Championship Committee member.

With over 500 NCAA programs (DI, DII, DIII) and over 250 club programs, there is an opportunity to play at the college level for every player. Maineiax Lacrosse Club can help you develop your skills to improve your game. We offer year round programs for boys and girls including summer & fall travel teams (practice players included) and fall & winter programming.
